Matis´ Waldlust Restaurant in Erzhausen

The New Year's Eve menu was excellent, couldn't have been better. I particularly liked the fact that there was no packaging waste, everything came on "real" dishes. Thank you ?

Yesterday we had two game delivery service: as always fantastic, the best game ham we have ever eaten with horseradish sprouts, the juiciest duck, the finest red cabbage and a great dessert ..... everything is perfect, quality is unbeatable, thank you for the brilliant menu !!! And the excellent delivery service !!!

Despite the coronavirus everything is good, food to go is awesome. Everyone should try it. Keep it up

The cook was very nice, but unfortunately not everything else. The wild boar was cold and dry, unfortunately the sauce with it consisted only of fat. The puff pastry in the venison dish was raw, stones were not removed from the mushrooms either. The cranberries and beets were also missing, although we picked up the food ourselves. If there was only a 1/2 star rating, the food doesn't deserve more today.

Very cozy, stylish atmosphere. Here you can relax really well with fine cuisine and very nice hospitality. Our 10 year old son was also given a warm welcome and was busy with origami and puzzles in between. Depending on the season, we had chosen a game dish (from the Kranichstein forest) and were not disappointed. From aperitif to dessert - everything is 1st class!

Very tasty and extraordinary dishes. Unfortunately, some of the dishes on the clear menu were already "out", but we still had a very nice evening with many taste experiences.

A meal was ordered the day before for 7 p.m. Nevertheless, I had to wait 15 minutes on site. Per: The food was still warm The team has meticulously paid attention to compliance with the current corona regulations Very nice Cons: The portion size as well as the taste was okay, but not quite adapted to the high price level. Among other things, the pig was very dry. We would neither strongly recommend a visit nor advise against it. In due time we will pay a visit to the Waldlust when everything has leveled off / normalized. Then you can give a fair rating and update the rating

After ordering, the wine finally reached its destination after another 30 minutes. The first of 5 courses finally reached the table after another 45 minutes. When the next course was served after another 30 minutes, it was the next but one. Everything zero and new. 20 minutes later, the 2nd - now actually the logical course! Until the third course was served in the correct order, however, it was cold - it had taken another 15 minutes. The main course came, the stomach growled, with no waiting time of 45 minutes. The dessert ... you could have done without it - finally came after another 15 minutes. But would the dishes have complied with their creative description on the menu and would have met the chef's self-made advance laurels? the wait would have been forgivable, maybe one would have liked to endure it. The essence of the evening; a lot of money for a lot of waiting time - and a Valentine's Day meal with a guaranteed memory. SORRY, no recommendation possible. Objectivity should be desired for the restaurateur to put himself in the position of his customers - 1 × for 220 minutes.

Cozy and nice! Waiters are great and very attentive. Eating is a dream. The portions should not be underestimated, it is more what it looks like. I would only like a little bit of subdued light, otherwise it is a dream and a great atmosphere. Thanks for that: D

Being used to London gastro, it has been really hard to find something comparable. This restaurant delivers. The waiter lives and loves his job. Thank you Jeffery. Outstanding. The food is amazing. The prices are actually too low for what they deliver. Taste and quality is absolutely perfect. Really refreshing.

This was a good restaurant. The service was above average and the food was good. My experience was not the best because of flies - we were eating outside and the number of flies were unbearable - we could not get them to go away (Not the fault of the restaurant but not good either).

Pleasant restaurant in Erzhausen, clean set tables, beautiful cloth napkins. Something strange, however, suggested that the owner and chef chatted about 15 minutes, with him well-known guests, but he did not even find it necessary to greet other guests in the restaurant at least. Strange behavior, does not entice you to visit!

Fantastic, delicious and fresh food. Cooked and presented with much creativity. A real nice place to be.
